Rapid Y/M Agar

Selective medium for enumeration of yeasts and molds

Rapid Y/M Agar is a medium used for selective isolation and enumeration of yeasts and molds from food, animal feeding stuff, water and environmental samples. The medium formulation allows accelerating detection compared to other media commonly recommended for the cultivation of yeasts and molds   . Unlike DRBC and DG18, which are used for high (ISO 21527-1) and low (ISO 21527-2) water activity products, respectively, Y/M Agar can be used with samples regardless of their water activity.

Contam Swab Listeria

Contam Swab Listeria is a swab containing a chromogenic culture medium used for the detection of Listeria spp. directly from surfaces.

Stored at room temperature, smeared on a surface, and incubated at 37°C for 18-24 hours, the Contam Swab product range delivers an easy and convenient detection of microorganisms directly from surfaces through a clear colour change of the culture medium.
